Networking (Hardware) Server (Hardware) Storage (Hardware) Supercomputing (Hardware, Software, Solutions)
Fujitsu has been leading HPC market over 30 years and is currently developing 10 Pflops class supercomputer with unique processor, interconnect and packaging technologies. We are also contributing to Japan's next generation supercomputer project led by RIKEN with these cutting-edge technologies. We provide a broad range of computing products such as x86-based cluster, SPARC-based SMP server, software and solutions to meet comprehensive HPC requirements.

Fujitsu Solutions and Vision for Petascale Computing
Fujitsu provides Technical Computing (TC) solutions to meet the widest range of customer requirements. Solutions include PRIMERGY IA cluster systems with high speed interconnects, large scale SMP systems, the Itanium base PRIMEQUEST server, and the SPARC64-based SPARC Enterprise server, and the new High-end TC server FX1 which will be launched by the end of this year.
Fujitsu is deeply involved in Japan's next generation supercomputer project and is also driving its R&D for targeting Petascale computing.
This presentation will introduce Fujitsu's vision for Petascale computing. The FX1 is a lead off system which guides current users to Petascale computing environment with multi-core and highly parallel interconnection. It will also explain features of the FX1 architecture which will be enhanced and succeeded to Fujitsu Petascale system.
