Abstract:
The workshop on Supercomputing, Multicore Architectures and Biomedical Informatics is a forum for researchers whose interests span high end computing and any area of Biomedical Informatics. The goal of the workshop is to begin the process of building a community of researchers with shared interests in understanding the impact of emerging architectures on computationally demanding biomedical applications. Targeted application areas include computational aspects of neuroscience, cardiology, phylogenetics, cancer modeling, computer aided Pathology classification, Radiology image analysis and computational anatomy.
